Security

Time clock & Attendance

Save time on your payroll!

• Multiple Job Codes may be set up for each employee.
• When the employee clocks in, they will be able to select which job they are working during that shift.
• Employees may only select to work job codes assigned to them. For example, if Bob only has job codes CASHIER and JANITOR assigned to him, he may not log in as a COOK.
• A shift report can be printed at the end of each shift. The printout displays necessary information such as the total amount of sales, breakdown by payment method, cash transaction details and an over or short amount.

Table/Ticket Management

You choose which way you would like to see your tables/tickets.

1. (Upper Left) See only the tickets/tables you have open.
2. (Upper right) See a list of all the tickets/tables available
3. (lower left) See a diagram of tables that are layed out like your dinning room.
4. (lower right) For quick service or in a bar skip the table layouts altogether.

Customer Database and Customer Loyalty

Finally a way to keep customer information!

• Track amount each customer spends with you.
• Run rewards programs. (ie buy 10 get one free, or spend $100.00 and receive a free appetizer etc.)
• Keep house accounts with spending limits. Invoice customers right out of the system.
• Use for Catering, trades, or any other customers for whom you keep accounts.
• Send mass emails to your customers or print mailing labels right out of the system.

Gift Cards

With Gift Cards, a customer can pre-pay for future purchases for themselves or use them as a present for someone else. Simply sell a gift card to a customer for any amount desired by the customer and swipe the card into the system. Now that card is on file. When the customer wants to pay using the Gift Card, all you need to do is swipe it at the end of the transaction and choose how much of their balance you want to apply to the invoice. Its as simple as that. Most importantly, the customer will want to come to your store to buy if they have a Gift Card from your store.

Coupons

Inventory

Fully automate your inventory tracking, the smarter way!

Example... You sell a happy meal. When you do, the system takes out of your inventory the burger, bun, cheese, ketchup, pickle, fries, soda, cup, lid, box, and the happy meal toy. You have a reorder level of 25 burger patties, and you are now down to 24. You go to the purchase order screen and the system will create a purchase order for your burger supplier with all of the items that you receive from them that are below the reorder level.
Use the inventory system if you would like, or keep track the old fashioned way, or use a bit of both systems. Restaurant Pro Express will work with you.

Reports & Historical Data

Keep historical data forever, or clear it out whenever you like.

Run an hourly sales report from 4th of July for the last 3 years, or check which of your servers sold the most desserts in the last 3 months, or how much ice cream you sold during the summer months this year compared to the summer months last year. The possibilities are virtually limitless as to the information you can gather.

Credit Cards

Fast customer checkout has become a reality.

Any business owner knows that long lines at the checkout counter are undesirable. When it comes to credit card processing, a customer normally waits between 20 and 30 seconds just to have their card processed. When you're in a rush, this seems like a long time. Now, Restaurant Pro Express Point of Sale (POS) works with PCCharge Payment Server internet based credit card processing software. What used to take 20 to 30 seconds to process (via modem) now takes between 3 to 5 seconds with a high-speed connection.

These days, more and more businesses are outfitting their locations with high-speed internet access like DSL or Cable Modem. If you have this high speed internet service, then you can have the speed of internet credit card processing and check out your customers at least 50% faster.

PC Charge can be used for stand-alone credit card processing or will interface with Restaurant Pro Express. When using it with Restaurant Pro Express POS, these programs will run in the background. When Restaurant Pro Express does a credit card transaction, it passes the information along to PC Charge to process the credit card. Then PC Charge will give Restaurant Pro Express back the answer from the credit card processor. This whole operation works seamlessly and in the background within 3 to 5 seconds when using it over the internet.

Credit Cards can also be taken over standard dial-up connection.
