Download a demo to try out on your Palm.
Also download HotSync to sync your Palm with your computer if you need to. Make sure HotSync is installed before following the directions below.

1. Run the pidemo.exe file. It will automatically default to extract to the c:\ drive. When it extracts it will create a folder called PALMDATA. **DO NOT CHANGE THE DRIVE LETTER. IT MUST BE C:
2. Go to the PALMDATA folder and click on the SatForms folder.
3. Run SETUP.EXE to install the Satellite Forms engine. If you are running Windows 2000 or Windows ME, skip to the next step. If you are running Windows 95, 98 or NT, you will need the new Microsoft Installer (MSI). Click on the appropriate file to download the correct installer for your operating system:
   • InstMSI for Windows 9x
   • InstMSI for WIndows NT
4. Go back to the PALMDATA folder and double click on SETUP.BAT to install Pocket Inventory onto your Palm unit.
5. Follow the directions on the screen to continue. HotSync has to restart during the installation process. Before you hit the HotSync button on your Palm, make sure that it has already restarted. Sometimes you will get a message asking to restart.
6. Included in the self extracting file is a manual (in MS Word format) and a Microsoft Access database. Please refer to the manual for information on using the Access database.
