Aldelo for Restaurants works with Aldelo EDC Server or PCCharge Payment Server internet based credit card processing software. What used to take 20 to 30 seconds to process (via modem) now takes between 3 to 5 seconds with a high-speed connection.
These days, more and more businesses are outfitting their locations with high-speed internet access like DSL or Cable Modem. If you have this high speed internet service, then you can have the speed of internet credit card processing and check out your customers at least 50% faster.
These programs can be used for stand-alone credit card processing or will interface with Aldelo. When using them with Aldelo, these programs will run in the background. When Aldelo does a credit card transaction, it passes the information along to the EDC Server or PCCharge to process the credit card. Then the credit card program will give Aldelo back the answer from the credit card processor. This whole operation works seamlessly and in the background within 3 to 5 seconds when using it over the internet.

Credit Cards can also be taken over standard dial-up connection. When processing credit cards this way you can choose your own processing company, and they will provide the equipment.
