Scale Interface

Cash Register Express can work with scales to enable you to charge for products by weight in three different ways:

• You can connect a scale to your computer and have CRE automatically obtain the weight of an item you're selling from the scale.
• You can have your scale print a barcode which CRE will use to determine how much to charge for the item.
• You can have CRE prompt you for the quantity of the item you are selling; when you enter the weight displayed on your scale the price of the item will be automatically computed.
