Passwords and Security

Each major Salon Iris screen and feature can be password protected. Each employee may have his/her unique password and list of screens and features that can be accessed.

Setting up passwords is easy.

Additionally, most reports can be password protected.

After an item is password protected, each employee will be prompted for his/her individual password when attempting to access the screen or function.

Employee ID Cards

Employees can be issued pre-made ID cards containing a magnetic strip. This allows employees to use ID cards to access password protected functions, rather than entering their individual name and password. That way employees cannot learn someone else's login ID. Employee ID cards are assigned through the Employees screen.

Thumb Print Reader Support

The Computer Administrator can use a pre-installed thumb printer reader for any password protected function. Only one person has access to use the thumb print reader.
