What is QIR Certification?
As of January 1, 2017, POS Nation is QIR certified.
QIR stands for Qualified Integrator and Re-seller. Being QIR certified means that the party with the following qualification has the knowledge and skill set to securely install PA-DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standard) — validated payment applications into merchant environments that meet PCI Data Security Standard compliance. Vendors that should go through the QIR certification program are those that configure and/or install POS software, payment applications, and terminals for merchants. Vendors that also support or service POS software and payment applications for merchants, such as accessing systems remotely and delivering system updates, should go through the QIR certification program.
