You can easily change the price of an item within the cashier screen, as long as your user code has been set with sufficient security privileges.
To manually change the item price to a specific amount, select the Exceptions button at the top of the screen after the item has been added to the invoice.
Highlight the item that you would like to edit, and then select Price under the Item columns on the right hand side of the screen.
A number keypad will appear. Enter the new price and choose Accept.
The Exceptions screen also allows you to add a percentage discount, or dollar discount, to an individual item or to the entire invoice.
Decide Who Does (and Doesn't) Have the Ability to Change Item Prices
Using our employee management functionality, you are able to configure who has permission to edit items down to the individual employee. Keeping that responsibility with owners, managers, or trusted employees.
Change Item Price Right on Your POS Screen
No need to access a back office or leave the main POS screen. Using the Exceptions button, you can edit the item price manually or by applying a discount.
